Also known as Lamprocapnos, Dicentra spectabilis 'Alba' is a classic plant for a cottage garden or edge of woodland. Instantly recognisable with its dainty, bobbing hearts arranged in an arching line, this is the white variety, and as pretty as the more familiar standard pink in our opinion.
