After enduring the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages and struggling with PTSD from his military service in Afghanistan, Merlin and his wife Lizzie leave the chaos of London behind. Seeking peace and healing, they return to Merlin’s childhood home, Cabilla, a hill farm nestled in the heart of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. As their love deepens for the rainforest Merlin explored as a child, they begin a fight not only to heal themselves and protect their farm, but also to save one of the world’s most endangered habitats.
